Sour Face

Sour Face was created to address the extended 11-week flowering time typically associated with Sour Diesel by introducing Face Off OG BX1 genetics. This cross aims to maintain the intense fuel and funk characteristics of the original Sour Diesel while improving the plant's structure and reducing the time required for maturity. The lineage combines the sharp, chemical-forward profile of 1990s East Coast Sour Diesel with the earthy pine and kush funk of Archive’s late-1990s SoCal OG line. The resulting flower is noted for its dense structure and heavy resin production. The terpene profile is dominated by myrcene, caryophyllene, and limonene, which contribute to an aroma described as sharp and chemically bright, balanced by herbal spice and citrus undertones. Reported effects often begin with a clear-headed, conversational onset that gradually transitions into a deeper, physically relaxing state, eventually leading to a sense of calm.
