Sour Lifesaver
Sour Lifesaver is a hybrid cross from B.O.G. Seeds that pairs [[lifesaver|Lifesaver]] with [[sour-bubble|Sour Bubble]], resulting in a profile defined by tart, sugary fruit notes balanced by earthy, diesel-tinged funk.
About Sour Lifesaver
Bred by B.O.G. Seeds, Sour Lifesaver is an internal cross between two of the breeder's established staples: Lifesaver and Sour Bubble. The pairing was intended to combine the qualities of the former with the potency, flavor, and dense floral structure of the latter. The resulting profile is characterized by a complex interplay of tart berries, sweet cherry, and sugary fruit, underscored by a nose of herbs, spice, earth, and diesel. Phenotypic variation is common, with some selections emphasizing the sugary fruit notes while others lean into the earthier, sour funk.
Reported effects are varied. While some users experience a creative, energetic uplift, others report significant physical relaxation and a sleepy finish. B.O.G. Seeds historically highlighted the strain's heavier, indica-leaning potential, noting that while it may keep ideas circulating, it often leads to sedation.
Plant characteristics
The flowers typically form small, compact clusters featuring mint-green coloration accented by fine orange pistils. The structure is notably dense, reflecting the influence of the Sour Bubble parent, with a heavy coating of fine white trichomes tucked into the folds of the buds.
