Sour Melon

Sour Melon combines the sugary notes of melon candy with the sharp, fuel-heavy characteristics of Sour Diesel. Karma Genetics created the strain by crossing their Melon KG cut with a Sour D BX3, a third-generation backcross selected to stabilize East Coast diesel funk while increasing resin production.

Karma Genetics, founded in 1999 by the breeder known as Karma, has a long history of working with diesel-leaning genetics. The project evolved from a small-scale operation into a global network of growers who test new releases for stability. This lineage is responsible for other notable strains such as Biker Kush and Sour Power OG.

Users report that the effects typically begin with deep physical relaxation, accompanied by a mild cerebral lift that allows for conversation before the body-heavy effects become more pronounced. It is generally described as a relaxing, post-activity strain rather than an energizing daytime option.
