Sour Monkey
Sour Monkey is a hybrid strain characterized by a sharp, citrus-forward profile and a reported lineage of [[lemon-kush|Lemon Kush]] and [[abusive-og|Abusive OG]]. It is known for a complex aroma that balances bright fruit with earthy, funky undertones.
About Sour Monkey
The genetic origins of Sour Monkey remain unconfirmed, though it is frequently attributed to a cross between Lemon Kush and Abusive OG. The flavor profile is led by sharp, sweet lemon and fruity pine. Its aroma is more pungent, mixing earth and spice with the scent of sour berries that lean toward an overripe, funky quality.
Reported experiences typically begin with euphoria and creative momentum, eventually transitioning into mental and physical relaxation. While some descriptions suggest a buzzy body feel without an immediate energy crash, consistent firsthand reviews are limited, making the universal nature of these effects uncertain. Note that Funky Monkey Sour and Sour Monkey Runtz are separate releases and should not be conflated with this strain.
Plant characteristics
The plant produces small, rounded yellow-green buds. The flowers are compact and feature a dense covering of thick orange hairs and fine, golden trichomes.
