Sour Snow
Sour Snow is a hybrid developed by Twenty20 Mendocino, crossing Humboldt Snow with Sour Diesel to produce a potent, trichome-heavy strain known for its complex citrus-fuel profile and shifting, multi-stage effects.
About Sour Snow
Originating from the Mendocino County-based collective Twenty20 Mendocino, Sour Snow is a cross between Humboldt Snow and Sour Diesel. This pairing blends the dense, vintage Afghani-influenced structure of the former with the electric fuel and sativa-leaning characteristics of the latter.
On the nose and palate, the strain presents a complex profile of lemon zest, blueberry syrup, and fresh diesel, underscored by notes of pine and spice. This aromatic profile is driven by a terpene composition featuring limonene, myrcene, and caryophyllene. The experience is frequently described as a two-stage effect: an initial cerebral, euphoric ignition that transitions into a more relaxed, physical state. Reported THC levels vary significantly, ranging from 20% to 35% depending on the specific phenotype. Beyond its own consumption, Sour Snow has been utilized by Twenty20 Mendocino as a parent for other selections, including MMXX and Snowcaine.
Plant characteristics
The plant features a dense structure and is heavily coated in trichomes, giving it a frosted appearance.
