About Specimen X
Specimen X is an indica-leaning hybrid created by Clearwater Genetics and Tiki Madman. The genetics pair Project 4516—a Grandiflora Genetics selection believed to carry Gelato lineage—with Devil Driver, Tiki Madman’s cut of Sundae Driver × Melonaid. The cultivar is noted for an intense aromatic profile featuring sharp fuel, creamy fruit, grape candy, and earthy spice, layered over a deep cherry-vanilla sweetness. On the inhale, the gas is prominent, followed by notes of citrus, berry, and nutty earth. Users report a high that is physically heavy yet mentally active, allowing for conversation while the body settles into a warm, weighty calm that can be potent for those with lower tolerances.
Plant characteristics
The plant features a compact, bushy structure, typically reaching 3–4 feet indoors with the potential to stretch taller outdoors. The buds are dense, displaying purple and lime-green coloration, rust-colored hairs, and a heavy coating of trichomes.
