Stargazer
Stargazer refers to two distinct cannabis cultivars with different genetic lineages, flavor profiles, and growth characteristics: a sativa-leaning hybrid by Dragons Flame Genetics and an indica-leaning hybrid by Delta 9 Labs.
About Stargazer
The Dragons Flame Genetics version of Stargazer was created by crossing a traditional African sativa with Bangi Haze. This cultivar was developed with the intent of producing an intense, sky-high effect paired with an earthy, citrus flavor profile. It is distinct from the Delta 9 Labs Star Gazer, a three-way hybrid derived from a Warlock female, an AK-47 female, and a Sensi Star male. The Delta 9 Labs selection is characterized by a flavor profile of pine and mint. Regarding potency, the breeder for the Delta 9 Labs version claims THC levels typically range between 16% and 17%; analytical testing from the lab Cannalytic recorded one sample of this cultivar at 17.5% THC and 0.5% CBD.
Plant characteristics
The Dragons Flame Genetics Stargazer is a vigorous, tall-growing plant that requires trimming. It is noted for its pest resistance and a flowering time of nine weeks indoors, or an early October harvest in the Northern Hemisphere, producing high yields of compact buds. The Delta 9 Labs Star Gazer is an indica-leaning plant that grows short and full. It features dark green foliage with pink stigma hairs and typically completes its flowering cycle in eight to nine weeks, with the breeder noting it performs well in indoor hydroponic systems.
