About Sun Kush
Not to be confused with the unrelated Sunshine Kush, Sun Kush is an indica-heavy hybrid believed to be bred by Midnight Roots Genetics in Michigan. It is a cross between the balanced hybrid Sunshine #4 and the indica-dominant hybrid Fire 18.
Users report a dual-phase experience, noting fast-acting, energetic sativa-like properties at the start of a session that eventually transition into deeply soothing indica effects. The strain features a sharp, super-sour fuel aroma that becomes sweeter once the flowers are ground. Its flavor profile is defined by spicy citrus notes—attributed to a terpene blend of caryophyllene, myrcene, and limonene—complemented by a mild diesel exhale.
Plant characteristics
The flowers are elongated and bumpy, featuring forest green leaves set against a dark purple base. The buds are accented by spindly amber pistils and a generous coating of sticky, orange-hued trichomes.
