The 1
The 1, also known as BC1, is a long-standing Oregon clone-only hybrid prized for its balanced effects and historical lineage, tracing back to a 1984 selection by Clackamas Coots.
About The 1
The 1 is a clone-only cultivar with a history dating back to 1984, when it was selected by breeder Clackamas Coots. Its genetics are reported as an F1 cross of a 1976 Highland Thai and a 1971 Kandahar Afghani. For decades, the cut has been maintained through small-circle distribution, avoiding commercial branding.
The flavor profile is characterized by notes of sweet pine varnish, lemon citrus, and earthy spice. While THC levels are typically reported in the mid-teens, users often describe the effects as more potent than the numbers suggest. The experience is frequently described as an initial uplifting, motivating mental state that transitions into a calm, physically comfortable finish without the paranoia sometimes associated with Thai landraces or the heavy sedation of pure Afghan varieties.
