The Glove

The identity of The Glove is split between two different genetic lineages. One variety is a sativa-dominant hybrid selected by Envy Genetics, resulting from a cross between Gary Payton and Cali Sunset. A second version is an indica-leaning collaboration between Cookies, Powerzzzup, and Seed Junky Genetics, which crosses Gary Payton with Jealousy.

The name serves as a tribute to NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton, whose defensive prowess earned him the moniker "The Glove." The Cookies iteration of the strain is characterized by a terpene profile dominated by beta-caryophyllene, limonene, and humulene. This combination produces a pungent, gassy, and ammonia-like aroma balanced by notes of sweet berry. Users frequently report that the strain provides a heavy, couch-locking physical sensation, consistent with its high-THC profile.
