About Violet Kush
Violet Kush is an indica-dominant hybrid bred by Garden of Green in Oakland, California. It is a cross of Purple Afghani and Hindu Kush, pulling deep Afghani genetics into a profile focused on relaxation. The strain is noted for a pungent aroma of damp earth and crushed grape skins with a sharp pine finish, while the flavor profile leans into tart berry and woody resin on the exhale.
Users report a distinct experience that begins with an unexpected rush of cerebral euphoria before gradually melting into a heavy, full-body stone. This transition is frequently described as a seamless, wave-like progression into deep relaxation.
Plant characteristics
The plant exhibits a compact, stocky structure when grown indoors, typically remaining short and bushy, though it can reach a medium height outdoors. The buds are dense and conical in shape, featuring deep violet and purple hues contrasted by bright orange pistils and a heavy coating of trichomes.
