XXX OG
XXX OG is an indica-dominant hybrid recognized for its classic OG profile of lemon and pine, paired with a heavy, sedative physical effect. It gained notable recognition by securing first place in the indica category at the 2014 Los Angeles Cannabis Cup.
About XXX OG
XXX OG adheres to a traditional OG agenda, characterized by notes of lemon, pine, and damp earth. Its genetic lineage is frequently cited as a cross between OG Kush and a strain known as XXX; however, the original breeder remains unconfirmed, and the specific background of the XXX parent is not well-documented. The strain is best known for its performance at the 2014 Los Angeles Cannabis Cup, where it took top honors in the indica category.
The aroma features pine sap and fresh lemon peel over damp earth, with a woody sweetness. This earthy, resinous character carries into the flavor, leaving citrus and a hint of sweetness on the finish. Users typically report an initial mood-lifting effect that transitions into a profound sense of physical relaxation, often leading to sleepiness, particularly with higher doses.
Plant characteristics
The plant produces large, dense green buds that are heavily coated in trichomes, resulting in a frosted appearance. Indoors, the strain typically reaches maturity in approximately eight weeks, producing medium to large yields. Due to the density of the flowers, airflow and moisture management are noted as important considerations.
