Zombie Virus
Zombie Virus is an indica-dominant hybrid characterized by a pungent diesel-grape flavor profile and a reputation for inducing deep physical relaxation and sedation.
About Zombie Virus
Originally bred by O.G.A. Seeds, Zombie Virus is the result of crossing an unnamed, compact pure-indica mother with a Diesel-cross father that carries subtle grape notes. The breeder has kept the exact genetic recipe secret, though the strain's name and horror-themed branding were inspired by the interests of O.G.A.’s Dr. Dog.
The flavor profile is led by diesel, with grape notes emerging underneath and a lingering sour finish. This fruitiness adds sweetness to the fuel-forward pungency. Users report a range of experiences, including euphoria, physical relaxation, tingling sensations, and increased appetite. While many report significant sleepiness, some users experience a period of alertness before the sedative effects take hold. The intensity and nature of the experience can vary significantly between individuals.
Plant characteristics
The flowers feature thick resin coverage and become increasingly dense as they mature. The original regular-seed line from O.G.A. Seeds exhibits vigorous growth and responds well to training, including topping, with a flowering period of approximately nine weeks. The feminized version offered by Lineage Genetics features a shorter flowering window of 49–56 days, with a tendency to outgrow indoor spaces if the vegetative stage is extended too long.
