40 Elephants

### Origins and History 40 Elephants originated as a chance discovery, found as a seed within a pound of Gelato. The specific selection was made by Garrison Lane, which subsequently secured first place for Best Hybrid Flower at the 2018 High Times NorCal Cannabis Cup. While the lineage is linked to Gelato, the pollen parent remains unidentified. The name serves as a tribute to the Forty Elephants, a historical all-female crime syndicate based in London, reflecting an outlaw theme chosen by Garrison Lane.

### Flavor and Aroma The flavor profile is characterized by notes of sweet cherry, tart citrus, and creamy berry, balanced by a peppery diesel finish. Reports regarding the version cultivated by The Grower Circle highlight a similar combination of berry and gas, noting a creamy quality upon inhalation. The experience is often described as a blend of sweetness followed by a distinct fuel-like presence.

### Reported Effects Users report that the strain provides a bright, creative mental uplift paired with underlying physical relaxation. It is often associated with social or creative settings, though reports regarding its ability to sustain focus or productivity are limited. The overall experience is generally described as inspirational with a reduction in physical tension.
