About Gelato
Original Bay Area family
Sherbinski and the Cookies breeding circle developed the original Gelato family in the San Francisco Bay Area from Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint GSC. Descriptions combine creamy sweetness with berry, citrus and earthy notes.
Its numbered selections include Gelato #33, also called Larry Bird, and Gelato #41, known as Bacio. These numbers identify selections, not THC percentages. Reports place potency commonly in the 20% range, with variation between cuts and batches; the displayed 18–26% reference range is not a specification for every Gelato product.
Barney’s Farm version
Barney’s Farm offers a separate Gelato seed line described as Blue Sunset Sherbert crossed with Thin Mint GSC, with a stated 60/40 indica lean. Its described aroma and flavor emphasize vanilla cream, strawberry, sweet red fruit and floral notes over an earthy base.
A consistent THC figure is not established in the available description of this release. Although it shares part of the original family’s ancestry, it should not be presented as an authenticated Gelato #33 or #41 clone.
