AC/DC

hybrid
AliasACDCCBD Queen

AC/DC, also known as ACDC or CBD Queen, is a high-CBD phenotype of [[cannatonic|Cannatonic]] selected by Dr. William Courtney. It is a clone-only strain recognized for its significant CBD-to-THC ratio.

About AC/DC

AC/DC is a phenotype of the high-CBD strain Cannatonic (also known as the CBD Queen) that was selected by Dr. William Courtney after receiving seeds from the Spanish breeder Resin Seeds. Available exclusively as a clone, the strain is noted for its high CBD content, with SC Labs testing indicating a 20:1 CBD-to-THC ratio. Resin Seeds describes the aroma as a blend of cherry, diesel, gas, and Mandarin peel, with myrcene identified as a dominant terpene. Users report a gentle sense of euphoria without heavy sedation, accompanied by a flavor profile featuring earthy honey notes with bright blueberry and pine undertones.

AC/DC has been widely used in breeding programs to develop other CBD-rich hybrids. Sin City Seeds has utilized the strain to create Thunderstruck (an S1 hybrid), Treasure Island (a cross with Swiss Gold), HarleSin (a cross with Harlequin), and Incredible Power (a cross with OmRita and BluePower). Other notable crosses include TOCI (a cross with Xena), EMT from Med Tree Seeds (a cross with Canna-Tsu), Valhalla from Love Genetics (a cross with Sky Dragon), and CBD Rich Blessing from Bodhi Seeds (a cross with a Good Medicine male).

Plant characteristics

The plant typically grows to an average height of about four feet, exhibiting a short, bushy structure with thin leaves. It produces medium yields of large, dewy buds. Flowering time is reported to be between 63 and 70 days, though this may extend in colder climates. The strain is generally considered best suited for indoor cultivation in warm environments.
