Amnesia Haze
A two-time Cannabis Cup-winning hybrid from Soma Seeds, Amnesia Haze is a complex, sativa-dominant cross known for its bright citrus profile and energetic, cerebral effects.
About Amnesia Haze
Amnesia Haze is Soma Seeds' interpretation of the Haze lineage, built from a genetic foundation incorporating landrace genetics from Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos. This base is layered with Jamaican Landrace and an Afghani-Hawaiian component, the latter of which was introduced to shorten the flowering cycle compared to traditional tropical sativas. The resulting profile features a blend of citrus, herbs, earth, and floral notes, often accented by peppery spice, pine, or sweet fruit. Users report an experience defined by euphoria, creative focus, and social energy, tempered by a grounding sense of relaxation. The strain gained notoriety in Amsterdam, securing first place at the 2004 High Times Cannabis Cup via a Barney's Breakfast Bar entry, followed by another victory in 2012.
Plant characteristics
The flowers of Amnesia Haze are typically dense and resin-heavy, a notable trait given the plant's tropical sativa heritage. The plants are known to stretch significantly during development.
