Haze
Haze, also called Original Haze, is a cannabis family associated with many later sativa-labeled hybrids. Its early history is incompletely documented, so a single definitive origin should not be assumed.
About Haze
One commonly repeated account connects its development with Santa Cruz breeders in the 1970s and a sequence of Mexican, Colombian, Indian and Thai ancestry. Those accounts describe several generations of breeding rather than a simple two-parent cross. Its immediate parents cannot be stated with confidence.
Haze genetics later circulated in the Netherlands and contributed to numerous named selections and hybrids. Blue Dream is one familiar strain associated with Haze ancestry. A Haze reference in another strain’s name or description does not establish that it shares an identical cut.
Use the breeder’s identification and the individual product label to distinguish selections. The broad family name does not establish THC content, terpene composition or an assured experience.
