About Astro Pop
Astro Pop is a name shared by two distinct cannabis hybrids. The version bred by Exotic Genetix is an indica-leaning cross of Red Pop and Grand Daddy Pluto. A separate, more indica-heavy iteration of Astro Pop also exists, which is reported to be a cross of Apples and Bananas and Grape Gasoline.
The Exotic Genetix selection is characterized by a terpene profile dominated by caryophyllene, resulting in a scent of gassy citrus and a sharp, spicy jet fuel flavor. Users report that the effects typically manifest as a sensation behind the eyes, followed by a reduction in stress and an increase in creative focus. Some consumers note that the experience can lead to increased talkativeness or bouts of giggles, making it a popular choice for social, late-night settings.
Plant characteristics
The buds of the Exotic Genetix selection exhibit a vibrant color palette, transitioning from neon green to deep purple, with some specimens appearing nearly black. The foliage is heavily coated in purple-tinted crystal trichomes, particularly along the edges of the leaves.
