Astroboy
Astroboy is a hybrid cultivar developed by TGA Subcool, originating from an accidental pollination event involving Apollo-13 and an experimental cross of Cinderella 99 and Ortega.
About Astroboy
Astroboy emerged from the garden of TGA Subcool as an unplanned cross. The lineage involves a female Apollo-13 plant that was pollinated by an experimental hybrid known as Taco, which itself was a cross of Ortega and Cinderella 99. The resulting cultivar is noted for a complex aromatic profile, characterized by a sweet and sour scent featuring undertones of wet soil, ripe citrus, and tropical fruit. On the palate, users report flavors of pineapple and blueberries, rounded out by a creamy, buttery finish upon exhalation. Reported effects range from giggly, energetic states to sensations of tingly relaxation.
Plant characteristics
Astroboy exhibits indica-dominant hybrid characteristics, typically growing into relatively small plants with tight internodal spacing. The plants reach maturity in 49 to 63 days indoors or by early October when grown in outdoor, semi-humid Mediterranean climates. It is reported to produce medium-sized yields and is available exclusively in clone form.
