Banana Tree

The name Banana Tree is applied to multiple, unrelated cannabis cultivars, leading to significant variation in genetics and effects. It is important to distinguish these from Banana Treez, which is an entirely different lineage.

One iteration, selected by The Grateful Seed Company, is a cross of Uprising Seeds' Mendowood and Strawberry Banana from DNA Genetics. This version is noted for high resin production, making it a candidate for hash production, with a terpene profile characterized by overripe banana, gasoline, and tart apple. No specific effect profiles are documented for this version.

A second version, of unknown origin, is a cross between Banana Dosido I95 and San Souci. This hybrid is reported to provide an uplifting, energizing experience that avoids typical sativa-leaning anxiety, making it suitable for social settings. Its aroma is described as a blend of banana, bergamot, herbs, and tart citrus.

A third version, also of unknown origin, is a cross of Bananimal and Lemon Tree. This cultivar is reported to be sativa-leaning, with users describing the effects as creative, energizing, and happy. Its terpene profile is dominated by myrcene, limonene, and linalool, resulting in a scent profile of herbs, zesty lemon, and subtle sweetness.
