About Biscotti

Biscotti emerged as a significant influence in West Coast cannabis culture. The strain was created in 2016 by Connected Cannabis Co. through a breeding project that crossed South Florida OG with Gelato #25. While historically credited to Cookies Fam and Berner, Connected co-founder Caleb Counts clarified that Connected initiated the project, employee Fandango performed the cross, and Berner participated in the pheno hunt, naming, and marketing. Following a business split, the partnership agreement restricted Cookies from further cultivation of the strain.

The flavor profile features a dessert-like core of coffee, cocoa, earthy sweetness, and toasted dough, balanced by a hard OG spine of pepper, fuel, and Kush funk. Terpene expression can vary by batch, but the roasted, sweet-and-savory profile remains consistent. The strain's popularity led to numerous reproductions in seed catalogs, including a feminized version by Barney’s Farm with a broader lineage of Gelato, GSC, and OG Kush, which is distinct from the original 2016 cultivar.

Reported experiences often begin with social, happy, euphoric, and creative sensations. These effects typically transition into a heavy, relaxing state that can lead to sedation.
