Black Diesel is a hybrid phenotype of [[nyc-diesel|NYC Diesel]] selected by Advanced Seeds, noted for a citrus-forward profile that contrasts with its name.
About Black Diesel
Black Diesel is a phenotype of NYC Diesel propagated by the team at Advanced Seeds. Despite its name, the cultivar is characterized by an aroma and flavor profile dominated by sour citrus and grapefruit rather than fuel. According to the breeder, this strain tests at an average of 19% THC. While lineage data lists Black Domina and NYC Diesel as parents, the strain is specifically identified as a phenotype of the latter.
Plant characteristics
This cultivar is capable of reaching heights of up to 12 feet when grown in outdoor environments. It reaches full maturity within a flowering window of 9 to 10 weeks, or by late October when cultivated outdoors.
