About Black Haze

The name Black Haze refers to two separate breeding projects with distinct lineages. The Washington-based version, created by Pioneer Nuggets, utilizes a combination of Colombian Black, Colombian Gold, and Purple Haze. This sativa-leaning hybrid is noted for a flavor profile featuring cherry, earth, and wood, with underlying herbal tones. It is not currently available as commercial seeds or clones.

In contrast, the Amsterdam-based version from Exotic Seed is an autoflowering variety. Its lineage includes Skunk #1, Lowryder, Sir Jack Auto, and Pakistan Chitral Kush F5. This version shifts the aromatic profile toward sweet floral notes and old-school incense. While both versions share a name and a preference for darker, earthier terpene profiles, they are genetically distinct and offer different sensory experiences. Users report a balanced experience that lifts the mood while maintaining focus.

Plant characteristics

The Pioneer Nuggets version produces tall, slender plants. The Exotic Seed version results in shorter, squatter plants. Both versions are capable of developing deep purple hues in the foliage and flowers when exposed to cooler temperatures.
