Cherries Jubilee

hybrid

Cherries Jubilee is a name shared by at least three distinct hybrid strains, each offering a unique genetic profile while generally leaning toward indica-dominant effects characterized by cherry-forward aromas and relaxing, euphoric experiences.

About Cherries Jubilee

The name Cherries Jubilee is applied to several genetically distinct cultivars, leading to significant variation in the final product. The version from The Cali Connection is a cross of Forbidden Fruit and Pre-98 Bubba, tracing its lineage back to Tangie. This iteration is noted for an aroma profile of ripe cherries, chocolate, and musk, providing a soothing, sedative high that is typically reserved for the afternoon or evening.

A separate version, bred by the multi-state operator Verano for their Essence line, is a cross of GG4 and Black Cherry Pie. This selection shifts the aromatic profile toward earth and pine, accented by notes of berries and diesel. Users report a euphoric, relaxing experience that often results in a foggy or empty-headed state, making it less suitable for morning use.

A third, less common version of Cherries Jubilee exists with unknown parentage. This indica-dominant hybrid is characterized by a scent profile of sweet cherries, dark berries, and spice, producing a cerebral buzz that transitions into a heavy, stoned state.

Plant characteristics

Plants of this strain typically reach medium height, featuring dark green foliage and distinct violet-hued colas. The plants are reported to thrive in warm, semi-humid environments, whether cultivated indoors or outdoors. Indoor flowering maturity is reached in approximately 66 days, while outdoor harvests generally occur by early October. It is currently unavailable as seeds or clones.
