Citrus Gelato Cake
Citrus Gelato Cake is an indica-leaning hybrid recognized for its complex citrus-gasoline aroma and its reputation for inducing a euphoric, creative state.
About Citrus Gelato Cake
Citrus Gelato Cake refers to two distinct genetic profiles sharing a common name. The version bred by Heartland Farms is a three-way cross of Wedding Cake, Gelato 33, and Orange Sherbet. This selection earned 2nd place for Best Indica Flower at the 2024 Best in Grass awards. Users report that the experience begins with an immediate cerebral buzz that eases physical and mental tension, transitioning into a state of creative flow and bliss. A second iteration of the strain is produced by crossing Gelato, Wedding Cake, and Lemon Haze, which is noted for a flavor profile leaning more toward creamy, nutty dough.
Plant characteristics
The flowers from the Heartland Farms selection are characterized by striking green and purplish nugs. The aromatic profile is defined by notes of sweet orange citrus, hops, and sugary gasoline, while the smoke is described as smooth with flavors of berry, earth, and diesel.
