Cookie Monster
Cookie Monster is an indica-dominant cultivar recognized for its 2014 High Times Cannabis Cup win and a complex aromatic profile blending sweet, nutty, and pungent herbal notes.
About Cookie Monster
The origins of Cookie Monster remain subject to debate. While some sources suggest a lineage involving GSC and OG Kush, others identify the parents as GSC and Purple Panty Dropper. Regardless of its precise genetic history, the strain is noted for a flavor profile characterized by sweet vanilla and nutty undertones, contrasted by a sharp, herbal, and cheese-like pungency. It gained significant industry recognition when it secured first place in the Best Indica category at the 2014 High Times Cannabis Cup. Reported effects typically center on deep physical relaxation and a transition into a state of sleepy euphoria.
Plant characteristics
Cookie Monster develops small, popcorn-shaped colas. The buds are characterized by curly, red-orange pistils and a dense covering of trichomes. Depending on environmental conditions, the plant may express blue and purple hues, particularly when exposed to cooler temperatures during the final stages of maturation. It is reported to reach maturity in eight to nine weeks when grown indoors, or by mid-October when cultivated outdoors in warm, semi-humid climates.
