Cotton Candy Lobster is an indica-leaning hybrid bred by Christopher Lynch of Cipher Genetics and cultivated by Maine Trees. It combines the genetics of [[cotton-candy-runtz|Cotton Candy Runtz]] and the award-winning [[blue-lobster|Blue Lobster]].

About Cotton Candy Lobster

Cotton Candy Lobster is an indica-leaning hybrid resulting from a cross between Cotton Candy Runtz and Blue Lobster. The strain was bred by Christopher Lynch, who developed the Blue Lobster parentage during his tenure at Compound Genetics. The name serves as a reference to the rare, iridescent lobsters found in the waters off the coast of Maine. Released in 2024, this strain follows the success of the Blue Lobster line, which earned three awards at the 2023 East Coast Zalympix. The flavor profile is characterized by layered berry and floral notes, supported by a creamy richness and distinct gassy undertones. Reported effects typically include an initial rush of euphoria and giggly mood elevation, which gradually transitions into a state of full-body relaxation, often described as a way to unwind without losing the vibe.

Plant characteristics

The plant produces heart-shaped, dense nugs featuring a deep forest green coloration with dark purple undertones. The flowers are covered in thick orange pistils and a heavy coating of golden-white trichomes. As the plant matures, some phenotypes exhibit vivid purple and blue hues.
