Dark Matter
Dark Matter is a name applied to at least two distinct hybrid cultivars, each with unique genetic lineages and sensory profiles.
About Dark Matter
The name Dark Matter refers to two separate breeding projects with different genetic foundations. The version by North Genetics is a cross between Kobain Kush and Smurf Berry. While specific sensory details for this iteration are limited, some reports suggest an apple-like sweetness paired with a diesel-forward finish.
A second, distinct version was produced by Kingdom Organics, utilizing a cross of Rusty Haze and Matanuska Valley Thunderfuck. This expression is characterized by prominent lemon and mango aromas, with a flavor profile described as citrus-forward and tropical. Users of this version have reported an initial euphoric onset that transitions into a giggly, relaxed state, eventually settling into a sense of creative calm.
Plant characteristics
The Kingdom Organics selection is noted for vigorous growth and is considered relatively straightforward to cultivate. It reaches maturity in 60 to 66 days when grown indoors, or by late October in outdoor environments. The plant produces fluffy, highly resinous buds.
