About Diablo Wind
Introduced as part of Houseplant’s weather-themed 2021 California launch, Diablo Wind is a cross of Jack Herer and G13 Haze. While Houseplant selected this specific expression for their debut, the original breeder remains unconfirmed. The aroma and flavor profile lean into its lineage, opening with pine and citrus before transitioning into notes of anise, cinnamon, and pepper. A woody, herbal sweetness rounds out the smoke. Reported effects include an uplifted mood, focus, and a tendency toward easy conversation and creativity. Some users experience a comfortable body buzz alongside this mental activity. Experiences can vary; while some find the headspace conducive to productivity, others report that higher doses may lead to a scattered, overactive mind.
Plant characteristics
The appearance of Diablo Wind varies by batch. Initial launch flowers were substantial, hairy, and sparkling with trichomes. Other batches have appeared as smaller, airy, mint-green nuggets with yellow-orange pistils and golden-looking trichomes. Secondary reports suggest a flowering time of 54–61 days and a tall growth habit, but these figures lack supporting harvest data and remain provisional.
