Dulce de Papaya

hybrid

Dulce de Papaya refers to two distinct hybrid cultivars sharing the same name, both characterized by tropical fruit profiles and a transition from euphoric head effects to physical relaxation.

About Dulce de Papaya

The name Dulce de Papaya is used for two separate breeding projects with distinct genetic lineages. The first, from Bloom Seed Co., is a cross of Dulce de Uva and Papaya. This version features a profile of candied grape, ripe mango, and funky papaya, balanced by creamy tropical notes and a sharp, peppery citrus finish. The second iteration, attributed to Nine Weeks Harvest, involves a cross of (Dulce de Uva x Zangria) with Papaya Drip. This version emphasizes ripe papaya and resinous funk over the grape candy notes found in the Bloom Seed Co. variety. Across both versions, users report an initial upbeat, euphoric head change that gradually settles into deep physical relaxation, with higher doses often leading to sedation.

Plant characteristics

Plants of this cultivar typically reach a medium height with a bushy structure. The buds are described as dense and notably resin-heavy, a trait that has made the strain popular for hash production. Flowering generally concludes within 60 to 65 days.
