Forbidden Guava

Forbidden Guava was created by Nugs 420 by crossing a Forbidden Fruit cutting—sourced from Purple City Genetics and recognized as a top 20 strain in 2019—with an in-house cross of Rosso Corsa and Guava Gelato.

There is some ambiguity regarding the strain's lineage. While some identify it as a cross of Stardawg and Afghani, this may stem from confusion over its complex genetic history, which features significant influence from Chemdawg and other Afghani-descended ancestors. The existence of a separate varietal characterized by spicy, funky mango-banana notes suggests that multiple plants may circulate under the same name.

Users report that the Nugs 420 version offers a bright flavor profile dominated by tropical berries and sour citrus notes, specifically grapefruit, cherry, and lime. It is generally considered an indica-leaning hybrid that provides a well-rounded experience suitable for various experience levels, often described as starting with euphoric energy before transitioning into a tingly, relaxed state.
