Forbidden Runtz
Forbidden Runtz is an indica-dominant hybrid that exists in two distinct versions, both characterized by a candy-like berry profile and a balanced, functional high.
About Forbidden Runtz
Forbidden Runtz is a name applied to two separate genetic lineages, leading to ambiguity regarding its exact origins. One version, attributed to the Michigan-based breeder TikiMadman, is a cross between Runtz and Forbidden Zkittlez. A second, distinct version was bred by Growers Choice and is derived from a cross between Runtz and Forbidden Fruit. Regardless of the specific lineage, the strain is noted for its candy-like berry flavor profile, which is complemented by aromatic notes of seasoned pine and diesel, attributed to a terpene profile rich in caryophyllene and myrcene. Reported effects include a sense of mental contentment paired with an energizing body high that users often find conducive to focus and physical activity rather than sedation.
Plant characteristics
The flowers of Forbidden Runtz are notably colorful, displaying a range of hues from deep maroon to amber and olive green. The buds are covered in a dense, sticky layer of trichomes, which can make the material challenging to roll into joints, though it is often described as well-suited for use in pipes or bongs.
