Frozen Berries
Frozen Berries is an indica-dominant hybrid known for its rich berry profile and balanced, relaxing effects. Popularized in the Michigan market by Pro Gro, it is widely attributed to a cross between [[blueberry|Blueberry]] and [[white-widow|White Widow]].
About Frozen Berries
Frozen Berries is an indica-dominant hybrid strain resulting from a cross between Blueberry and White Widow. While the original breeder remains unconfirmed, the strain gained significant traction through Pro Gro in the Michigan market.
The flavor profile is characterized by a prominent berry sweetness—reminiscent of ripe blueberries and raspberries—balanced by earthy, herbal undertones and a faint minty finish. The aroma mirrors this, transitioning from sweet fruit to a woodsy, warm scent as the flower is exposed to air.
Reported experiences typically involve an initial wave of calm euphoria that elevates the mood, eventually transitioning into a steady, full-body relaxation that is generally described as soothing rather than sedating. Some users note a brief period of creative focus before the more physical effects become dominant, making it a common choice for evening unwinding.
Plant characteristics
The plant maintains a compact, bushy structure, typically reaching 3 to 4 feet indoors and 5 to 6 feet in outdoor environments. The buds are dense and heavily coated in trichomes. When exposed to cooler nighttime temperatures during the flowering phase, the foliage often displays distinct purple and blue hues inherited from its Blueberry lineage.
