Funnel Cake

Funnel Cake is a hybrid strain bred by the Chicago-based cultivator Verano. It is widely reported to be the same genetic profile previously known as Gas Powered Cake, a name derived from its parentage of Sherbet and Wedding Cake. While the specific motivations behind the rebranding remain unclear, the name Funnel Cake is intended to highlight the strain's distinct flavor profile, which features buttery, sweet pastry notes underscored by hints of fruit and funk. Users generally report a balanced experience, characterized by an initial upbeat head high that transitions into waves of relaxation, though it is noted for rarely inducing heavy sedation.
