Ghost Train Haze #1 was created by Rare Dankness founder Scott “Moonshine” Reach, who crossed a Ghost OG female with a Nevil’s Wreck male. The strain is recognized for its sharp, sour citrus and floral Haze aroma, which is balanced by notes of earth, spice, and a distinct OG pungency. This sour profile translates to the palate, providing a tart edge to the strain's sweetness. The strain gained significant recognition after taking first place in the US Sativa category at the 2014 High Times Cannabis Cup. Rare Dankness has released other numbered variations of Ghost Train Haze using different OG selections; while these belong to the same breeding series, they are not all the original Ghost OG cross. Users frequently report an intense, euphoric, and highly energetic experience, often noting that it provides a creative or focusing boost, though some find the effects to be racy.
Plant characteristics
