About Ghost Vapor OG
Ghost Vapor OG is an indica-dominant hybrid that emerged in California’s craft cannabis scene during the late 2010s. While widely considered a cross of Ghost OG and Purple Punch, its exact genetic history remains subject to minor discrepancies across various archives, and the original breeder has not been publicly confirmed. The strain gained significant recognition at the 2024 CA State Fair Cannabis Awards, where entries by Green Smart Farmer secured gold medals for Myrcene and Total Terpenes, as well as a silver medal for Pinene.
The flavor profile is characterized by tart berry and grape notes, transitioning into a fuel-forward finish. Aromatically, it presents a blend of earthy pine, sharp lemon zest, and a musky, diesel-like base with hints of black pepper. Reported experiences typically begin with a brief period of euphoria before transitioning into a slow-building, heavy physical relaxation, making it a common choice for evening use.
Plant characteristics
The plant produces dense, dark-purple nuggets covered in a thick layer of silvery trichomes. It exhibits strong apical dominance and tight internodal spacing, forming golf-ball-shaped colas.
