Gold Star
Gold Star is a hybrid strain bred by Bodhi Seeds, combining the resinous profile of [[sensi-star|Sensi Star]] with the vigorous, landrace genetics of [[malawi-gold|Malawi Gold]].
About Gold Star
Gold Star is an intercontinental hybrid created by Bodhi Seeds, who paired a sweet turpentine cut of Sensi Star with a vigorous Malawi Gold male. This cross merges the dense, frost-heavy characteristics of European indica lines with the energetic traits of an African landrace.
The aromatic profile is defined by sharp menthol and pine, balanced by warm spice and floral undertones. The terpene profile is dominated by myrcene, pinene, and caryophyllene, which contribute to a cooling, herbal sensory experience. Users report that the effects are fast-acting and cerebral, characterized by a long-lasting, energetic high that transitions into a steady, psychedelic-leaning cruise.
Plant characteristics
The buds are dense and heavily coated in resin, featuring a thick layer of trichomes over a base of deep green foliage accented by fire-orange pistils.
