Guava Haze
Guava Haze is a tropical-leaning hybrid recognized for its bright, fruit-forward aromatic profile and an uplifting, cerebral effect that encourages focus and social interaction.
About Guava Haze
Guava Haze encompasses two distinct genetic interpretations that converge on a similar tropical flavor profile. The first iteration, emerging from California’s mid-2010s tropical-fruit breeding scene, is a three-way cross of Squirt, Tangie, and Humboldt Dream. In this version, the citrus-heavy foundation of Tangie is balanced by the deeper, sweeter tropical notes contributed by Squirt and Humboldt Dream.
The second iteration is a literal pairing of Guava and Haze genetics. While no specific breeder has been publicly confirmed for this version, it appears across dispensary menus from cultivators including Raw Garden and Theory Wellness. This lineage combines guava-forward tropical character with the energetic, cerebral influence traditionally associated with Haze genetics.
Regardless of the lineage, the strain is consistently noted for its aromatic complexity, featuring prominent notes of ripe guava, passionfruit, and lime zest, often grounded by subtle hints of cedar, earth, and faint diesel. Users frequently report an upbeat, social experience that provides mental stimulation and a creative spark without the jittery sensations sometimes associated with high-energy strains. A mild physical calm is often noted, which helps maintain a balanced, grounded experience.
Plant characteristics
Guava Haze is an intermediate-difficulty strain. Indoors, it typically reaches heights of 4–5 feet, while outdoor plants can grow to 6–7 feet. It is best suited for warm, Mediterranean climates with daytime temperatures ranging from 75–82°F. The flowering period lasts between 9–12 weeks, with reported yields of 450–600 g/m² indoors or 16–22 oz per plant outdoors.
