The name Halitosis, sometimes referred to as Halitosis Breath, refers to two separate breeding projects. The first, selected by ThugPug Genetics, is a cross of Hippy Slayer and Mendo Breath F2, utilizing a Studly Spewright male. This version is noted for a complex aromatic profile that leads with earthy funk, spicy herbs, and pepper, occasionally leaning into fermented fuel notes. Despite the aggressive scent, the flavor profile is reported to be more refined, featuring sweet berries, woody pine, and black pepper. Users of the ThugPug version report a rapid onset of euphoria that can become giddy and hazy, accompanied by a grounding physical relaxation.
The second version, created by Covert Genetics, stems from a cross of Motorbreath #15 and ChemDi95, with the breeder later releasing an F2 generation. This iteration is defined by its heavy Chem influence, though detailed reports regarding its specific aromatic nuances and effects remain limited compared to the ThugPug release.
Plant characteristics
ThugPug’s Halitosis Breath produces dense, knuckled buds featuring forest-green foliage, thin orange pistils, and a heavy coating of white trichomes. The plants are described as having a medium-to-tall growth habit with a flowering window of eight to ten weeks. Covert Genetics’ Halitosis F2 has a reported flowering period of nine to ten weeks. Both versions were released as regular seeds, meaning they can produce both male and female plants.
