Jack Attack
Jack Attack is a sativa-dominant hybrid with a disputed genetic history, often associated with the lineage of [[jack-herer|Jack Herer]]. It is recognized for providing an energetic, cerebral experience suitable for daytime use.
About Jack Attack
Jack Attack features three distinct, conflicting origin stories. The first, attributed to Venus Genetics, has been available since 2005 as a feminized sativa-dominant hybrid (approximately 90/10). This version is linked to Jack Herer genetics, with reported THC levels around 22% and 0.1% CBD, producing dense, resinous buds with an incense aroma.
A second origin theory suggests a cross of Northern Lights and Shiva Skunk, typically testing at 20–22% THC. This version is described as spicy, skunky, and earthy, with citrus and sweet undertones. Some growers suggest the inclusion of Haze, which shifts the profile toward sweet orange, cream, and spicy pine. Because Jack Herer is composed of Northern Lights, Skunk, and Haze, this may be a variation of the first origin.
A third origin involves a cross of Jack Herer and Diesel. This variant features a nose of lemon, pine, sweet herbs, and citrus peel over a diesel backbone, with one tested batch showing 23.51% total THC and 2.37% terpenes.
Across all variations, users report an energetic, clear-headed lift, euphoria, creativity, focus, and chatter, with a light body ease that avoids sedation. High doses may cause dry mouth, dry eyes, and mild edginess.
Plant characteristics
The plant produces dense, resin-heavy buds. It is suitable for indoor or outdoor environments, with indoor flowering finishing in 70–75 days. It thrives in warm, sunny, Mediterranean-style climates.
