There are two primary cultivars circulating under the name Laughing Gas. The first, created by the Oregon-based TKO Reserve, is a cross between Sour Diesel and Cherry Pie. This version is characterized by a terpene profile dominated by gasoline, tangerine, and skunk, with a flavor profile often described as a blend of lemon, diesel, and pepper. Users report that this cultivar tends to induce giggly euphoria, which often transitions into a state of focused creativity and talkativeness.
The second version of Laughing Gas was created by Treeology Genetics by crossing the Berserker and Iris strains. This iteration offers a markedly different sensory experience, with reported aromas of kush, pepper, and earth. Its flavor is noted for being earthy and peppery, with a subtle hint of lemon.
Plant characteristics
TKO Reserve's Laughing Gas is thought to prefer semi-humid environments with warm temperatures. Indoor flowering typically occurs over eight to nine weeks, with outdoor harvests reaching maturity in early October. Treeology Genetics' version thrives in both indoor and outdoor environments, requiring regular pruning to maintain adequate airflow and light penetration in the lower canopy.
