Lava Cake
Lava Cake is an indica-leaning hybrid known for its complex dessert-like aroma and reported effects of physical relaxation and appetite stimulation.
About Lava Cake
Cannarado Genetics created Lava Cake, also known as Black Rock Lava Cake or Lava Cake #11, by crossing Thin Mint GSC with Grape Pie. This lineage blends the distinct profile of the Cookies family with the fruit-forward characteristics of Grape Pie, resulting in a terpene profile that often features notes of chocolate, mint, sweet dough, and dark fruit. Depending on the specific selection, the flavor can shift between cocoa-heavy, berry-forward, or citrus-edged profiles.
Users frequently report a combination of euphoria and physical relaxation, often accompanied by a significant increase in appetite. While some individuals find the experience creative, others note that it can lead to sedation. Because potency can vary, checking the specific batch label is recommended.
Plant characteristics
The plant features significant branching and produces dense, compact flower clusters. The buds typically display a color palette of deep green and purple, heavily coated in trichomes and accented by contrasting orange pistils.
