Lemon Barz
Lemon Barz is a name shared by multiple distinct cannabis strains, including a complex six-way hybrid bred by Wave Rider Nursery and a balanced cross from Beyond Top Shelf.
About Lemon Barz
The Wave Rider Nursery version of Lemon Barz is a sativa-dominant hybrid resulting from a six-way cross: (Golden Lemons x Wonka Bars) x (Wedding Cake x Zkittlez) x (GMO x Purple Punch). It is characterized by a sweet, creamy citrus flavor profile with notes of cherry candy and vanilla, mirroring the aroma of fresh-baked lemon bars. Users report a citrus-fueled rush of focused energy, motivation, and mental clarity, often used to assist with daytime tasks.
A second strain, spelled Lemon BarZ, was bred by Beyond Top Shelf by crossing Headband and Abula. This iteration is reported to offer a more balanced high, with an aroma and flavor profile of strawberries, cherries, and sour fuel.
An additional, separate description identifies a potential indica-dominant variant of Lemon Barz derived from Pineapple Tart and Chunky Lemon Tree, though this version is noted as currently unavailable as seeds or clones.
Plant characteristics
The Wave Rider Nursery selection produces dense, bright green and golden nugs covered in orange hairs and chunky, golden-white trichomes. The Beyond Top Shelf selection is noted for producing purple, frosty-covered nugs. The indica-dominant variant derived from Pineapple Tart and Chunky Lemon Tree is described as likely producing short plants with broad leaves.
