Limelight
Limelight is a name shared by three distinct hybrid strains, each offering unique genetic lineages and profiles ranging from citrus-forward balanced hybrids to sativa-leaning varieties.
About Limelight
The version by Wizard Trees is a balanced hybrid created by crossing Gelonade and Zangria. It is noted for a distinct aroma reminiscent of lime soda or Sprite, characterized by citrus notes and a fizzy quality. Users describe the experience as a blend of focus and a 'stoney' sensation, often favored for sedentary activities like watching television.
Limelight OG is a sativa-leaning hybrid of unknown origin, reportedly bred from Orange Zeta and Blue Fame OG. This version is distinguished by a profile dominated by sour lemon, spice, and wood. Its reported effects align with traditional sativa characteristics, providing a burst of energy, euphoria, and mental clarity.
A third version was produced by Kali Grown Seeds. This hybrid, sometimes referred to as Rockstar, is a cross of Key Lime Pie, Lemon Tree, and Kali Grown OG. It is known for a sharp lemon-lime scent grounded by earthy notes. This specific cultivar is reported to be uplifting and energizing, though it is no longer commercially available from the breeder.
Plant characteristics
The Wizard Trees selection features dense, round buds with dark undertones and dark orange hairs. The Limelight OG variant produces large, fluffy buds. The Kali Grown Seeds version is characterized by vibrantly green buds.
