Maraschino

Maraschino is a hybrid strain created by Tesoro Genetics. It is a cross between Sweet Grass (Ringo's Gift x Cobbler) and Cherry Uno (a cross of Durban Poison and Granddaddy Purple). Some sources suggest the lineage may also include Otto II. Because the parent strains are frequently cultivated as hemp, Maraschino is recognized for its high CBD content. There is some uncertainty regarding its cannabinoid profile, with reports suggesting it can reach significant THC levels if allowed to reach mature growth stages. Users often describe the experience as balanced and functional, suitable for both productivity and relaxation. Its aromatic profile is characterized by notes of apricot, peach, and red berries. It is frequently confused with the similarly named Maraschino Cherry, though the two are distinct.
