Modified Banana, sometimes referred to as Modified Bananas, is an indica-dominant hybrid created by Skunk House Genetics (now California Seedbank Genetics). It is a cross between Banana OG and GMO. The strain is characterized by a terpene profile typically rich in myrcene, limonene, and beta-caryophyllene, which produces a tropical aroma often described as having notes of ripe mango and apricot balanced by diesel undertones.

Beyond its terpene profile, the strain is noted for high THC content and significant levels of CBG as its primary minor cannabinoid. Skunk House Genetics also produced an F2 selection by crossing their Modified Banana #29 with itself, though it remains unclear which specific iteration is most common in the current market.
