Moon Drops
Moon Drops is a hybrid cultivar bred by Archive Seed Bank, combining the genetics of [[purple-urkle|Purple Urkle]] and [[do-si-dos|Do-Si-Dos]] to balance traditional purple aesthetics with modern potency.
About Moon Drops
Bred by Archive Seed Bank’s Portland team, Moon Drops is a hybrid cross of Purple Urkle and Do-Si-Dos. This cultivar aims to fuse the deep violet hues and grape-sweet aroma of Humboldt’s original purple genetics with the creamy, earthy funk of Do-Si-Dos, which descends from GSC.
Reported experiences typically begin with a euphoric, kaleidoscopic cerebral onset that transitions into a tranquil, weightless physical calm. Users often describe the effects as creative yet sedative, making it a common choice for evening wind-downs or late-night inspiration. THC levels generally test between 20-25%, with a terpene profile likely dominated by myrcene and linalool, contributing to its blend of fruit, floral, and earthy spice notes.
Note that this cultivar is distinct from the sativa-leaning Moon Drops produced by Garden Remedies, which is a cross of Delicata Grapes and Shade Tree.
Plant characteristics
The plant produces dense buds featuring a mix of neon green and deep plum hues, covered in a heavy layer of trichomes.
