Moonbeam
Moonbeam refers to two distinct, unrelated cultivars: a mysterious indica-leaning variety released by Leafs by Snoop and a modern, terpene-forward hybrid developed by A Golden State.
About Moonbeam
The name Moonbeam is shared by two cultivars from different origins. The Leafs by Snoop version is an indica with undisclosed genetics. Its profile is sour and citrusy, sharpening into pine before settling over an earthy, faintly herbal base. It is often associated with a heavier, more sedative experience suitable for nighttime use.
The A Golden State version is a California-grown hybrid bred from a Purple Pineapple phenotype of Purple Urkle and Rainbow Belts 2.0. This version offers a brighter, sweeter profile featuring pink grapefruit, key lime, creamy berries, rainbow candy, and fresh pine. Published batches have reached 32.5% THC with approximately 0.05% CBD. Consumers report an initial mood lift and social energy that eventually transitions into a calmer, heavier state. Because these versions differ significantly in flavor and effect, consumers should verify the producer to ensure the desired experience.
Plant characteristics
The Leafs by Snoop version produces long, tapered, mint-green buds threaded with bright orange pistils and a heavy coat of white trichomes. The A Golden State selection, traced to the eighth keeper from a 100-seed hunt led by cultivator Bear Masterson, produces bluish buds layered with purple and green beneath a dense trichome coat.
