Rainbow Belts
Rainbow Belts is a hybrid strain created by Archive Seed Bank, recognized for its complex, candy-forward terpene profile and a balanced experience that transitions from social to sedative.
About Rainbow Belts
Rainbow Belts was created by the Portland, Oregon-based Archive Seed Bank, founded by ThaDocta. Released in 2017, the strain is a cross between Zkittlez and Moonbow #75. Because Moonbow is a descendant of Zkittlez and Do-Si-Dos, this lineage emphasizes the Zkittlez genetic influence. The flavor profile is characterized by sharp lemon-lime and grapefruit notes, transitioning into apricot, mango, and tropical berry. A floral sweetness defines the mid-palate, while a finish of diesel, pepper, and earth provides a grounding contrast to the fruit-forward profile. Reported experiences typically begin with a giggly, euphoric lift that encourages conversation, eventually transitioning into a heavier, more relaxed physical sensation suitable for evening use.
Plant characteristics
The plant produces dense, green flowers that often develop vibrant blue, purple, pink, or yellow hues during the late flowering stage. The buds are covered in bright pistils and a heavy layer of trichomes. The 2.0 version of the strain is noted for its ability to turn fully purple.
